Text Box: (resuscitated)

In 1977, five guys got together and formed a band called ' dutch '.

28 years later, they are back together.

They may be older but they sure ain't wiser.

The very first resuscitated event happened on Saturday June 11th, at the Social Club at Livingston Police Station, West Lothian, Scotland.

Things kicked off about 7.30pm and finished in time for the guys' bedtime.

Families were welcome-none of the our kids ever saw us play, so the event was designed to be child friendly! (ish!)

The event featured an acoustic set from Alan Stewart & Robert Stuart, a solo set from Colin "Jay" Jackson, good music in between (ancient and modern, supplied by Donald Logie), and the main event-a set from dutch featured songs by Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Free, Bad Company, Pink Floyd and Thin Lizzy among others. It was a family evening-kids encouraged.

And, thank God, they laughed with us, not at us!!!!

Also, over £200 was raised for the charity DRAKE (Scotland), supported by percussionist Evelyn Glennie.
